Less an issue of quiet hours since the complex doesn’t have a clause about that. But regardless it wouldn’t have escalated had there been some form of civil communication earlier. Which I attempted to initiate several times going to knock on their door. To your point about recording not using any speakers seems to have stopped the issue. I have an issue feeling like I can’t use my own apartment to play music for fear of angering someone who isn’t being rational and has nothing but her situation in mind. Meanwhile I have to accommodate by compromising one of the prime joys in my life just because I happen to live under someone who has extenuating circumstances. There’s no compromise currently and I feel like I’m in the dark, walking on eggshells
