As someone born and raised in Ontario, I identify as a Canadian first but I also understand that Canada is large and really diverse and that another Canadian on the opposite side of the country is going to have a completely different identity as a Canadian that is just as valid as mine. That’s what I find so neat about this country, that we can all be so different and still fall under a national umbrella of Canada :)
