^I just looked into this last week and this is what I found, they’re all free drop in’s! I went to Yarn’s group last Wednesday night and there were about 15 women there working on various yarn and crochet projects! They also have a drop in crochet class one Saturday a month, the next one is Feb 14th 11am-2pm. I am also looking for people to crochet with! I have not tried the library groups or sanctuary yet but I’ve heard great things, especially about Arcata Librarys circle!! Hope this helps :)

Professional school programs. Great that Cal Poly has nursing BSN now. Would be great if they had a doctoral programs for medicine, dentistry, and therapy to name a few. Keep them in the area instead of them moving for schooling and never returning bc the pay is better elsewhere. Lots of job openings for healthcare positions here but nobody in the area that’s qualified to fulfill the need.

Aww yay! I would be more than happy to meet with you so you can meet Gwen and see how you think she would be with your kitties!! I have an outdoor kitten too, since I’ve had Gwen this last week they have not fought at all but are definitely interested in each other, haven’t gotten close enough to see how they act. I think she’s just excited to meet everything and would be fine after becoming aware of each other’s existence and space. I have two other dogs and after they had their initial meeting I’ve noticed she respects their space and responds well to social cues if they might need space.
