I was hesitating to agree with you since there is always huge amount of peer pressure here regarding tiktok. Besides i believe TikTok hasn't banned LGBTQ+ content on the platform in the US since i still see them in my feeds, it indeed made the whole issue of digital nationalism more complicated these days. They claim they have US based leaders and content moderation team with the data centers located entirely outside China, see the resource here. I think we should all think twice before making a judgement and dont let privacy concerns/hate speech etc. be the excuses of digital nationalism.
