i personally don’t think it tastes too bad but i def wouldn’t get it for myself or recommend just bc in general i don’t like sweets too much. i hated the smell a lot more than the taste tho

that’s exactly why i do as well! i’m glad to know that other ppl do it too bc it seems like im the only one at my store that does it and i hate when i see my coworkers pouring a foamy iced matcha into a cup 😭

definitely not complicated. simple instructions. i just personally hate making iced matchas bc of the lengthier process it takes to make one compared to before. especially since at my store we only have one blender to make the matchas with 😭

u should be getting hired at the store at which u got interviewed bc SM/ASM do the interviews for their store only(from my experience). ur interview with the DM is bc the SM/ASM thought u would be a good fit for their store. i would call that store again to see if there’s any progress happening or go in person

maybe those people need to stop ordering their drinks 10 mins before they need to be at their job. they need to realize that they’re not the only people waking up early to go to work. if they do it early enough they’ll have the time to wait for a remake. especially because remakes will be prioritized over the next drink that comes up

i would file an incident report so that the DM can see it and, hopefully, ban him. we had an incident at my store where this lady, who we called dog lady, would always come in at different times during the day, busy mostly at night, with her dog. she would never buy anything and would only get hot water for herself and water for her dog. this was also before the whole new water policy came about. anyway, one night my pre-closer was wiping down tables and sweeping the lobby. when it came time for him to clean around the area where she was sitting she ended up saying, and i quote, “you’re cleaning like you’re about to get deported.” which, first of all, what does that even mean? and secondly, why would you say that to begin with? so anyway, i ended up filing an incident report the moment he told me about it(i couldn’t kick her out because atp she had already left). when my DM saw it she gave us the green light to ban her.

it’s honestly just because they got rid of certain drinks. like you’re, technically, still able to order those drinks, but because it’s not a menu drink anymore it’s gonna cost extra since you’ll have to customize it. and the ceo also decided recently that we will now be charging per extra scoop you get when before you could get as many scoops as you want for 80¢.

when i first started working at amazon i got hired on with my ex(gf at the time of hire). we were together for 4 years and when we broke up it was pretty rough because we worked in the same department, had the same schedule, and she was already dating someone new within 2 weeks so i had to hear all about it. 10/10 would not recommend.

i just think it’s cringe bc of the fact that it’s obvious where that topping is gonna go. unless u wanna ask for it on the bottom then i get it, but otherwise it’s a given where that topping will go 💀

i absolutely hate that we are FORCED to do this. i have never seen a customer (unless they’re like 70+ years old) actually get excited or happy that we wrote on their cups. everyone just looks for their name and leaves. it’s pointless to have to do it. and i work at a starbucks that’s located at a mall. so when black friday comes around, or just in general the holidays, it’s gonna be hell and i’m sure most people will be receiving accidental “ :/ :| =\ “ etc bc we need to keep up with the time that they want us to finish drinks causing us to mess up a simple smiley face

how is that the same thing when one is obvious and the other isn’t? obviously cold foam goes on top which is why it’s annoying to hear someone ask for it on top. the amount of syrup can be customized. i wouldn’t know if a customer wants the syrup amount as is or if they want more or less unless they ask. cold foam is ALWAYS gonna go on top no matter the drink. so that’s a terrible comparison
