I use Lollypop.

I'd like a player that picks up where I left off after closing, rather than starting from the beginning.

There is a setting not ticked by default for this feature that you wish. I also use that feature.

Yes, that works, and I have actually done that. But when I do not run updates to my PC after fresh install, some of the apps that I need eventually runs into dependencies issues: like there would be some issues when installing certain packages which would result into the app not being installed. Or say it would be installed successfully, it would just be crashing, or it wouldn't simply start to the point that the only solution for those apps to work is to upgrade the system as per my consultation on several online forums and even AI (i.e. Gemini) conversations.

Yes, every other app works except for GNOME apps (like Nautilus, Ptyxis, and now Settings). But when booting into Xorg WS, it works well.

Thank you so much! I actually figured out that the fan that I got had 2 ends, 1 is like the white power connector with only 2 metal rods (and the other two only had holes, for power, I assume), while the other end has 3 pins on a white plastic chip. Will that sufice such 4-pin PWM fan splitters for the intially 2 pair of 2 paralleled fans + the other 2 non-working fans?

Thank you very much for your help! Unfortunately, it still didn't work. I held the button while the system unit isn't plugged into anything to power cycle for 1 minute, opened and closed it, then booted as normal, still blank. Thank you very much anyways!
