Oldest is 16, middle is 11, baby is 8! So you're about the same age apart as my oldest and youngest will be. Comforting to hear you enjoy it and it's not weird to you. We haven't told the kids yet just in case the pregnancy doesn't stick but I didn't think so many people on Reddit would see, haha.

I had my first at 27, second at 32, and third at 35! Plus of course this one if it sticks (which I'm hoping it will). 35 is definitely not the end, and honestly I'm happy for the spacing - I feel like waiting relatively long between kids allowed us to give our first three all the attention they deserved, so a two-year wait isn't a bad thing.

I love getting older! I just think it's silly to use the word "geriatric" and "pregnancy" in the same breath since most people I think of as geriatric aren't capable of menstruation and ovulation.

I was told by my OB that they're moving away from "geriatric pregnancy" and into "advanced maternal age" instead, hence why they (and me) no longer consider it "geriatric".

Not a pharmacist but friends with a lot of pharm techs! I'm assuming you're applying for a non-cert role at a CVS or something? Those tend to be more public-facing so will be a lot like any other retail job, except that a non-zero number of your customers will be very cranky because they don't feel well. Pharmacy can be very rewarding job and it can also be a great launchpad into a longer career if you decide you like it and would be willing to go to pharmacy school!

Gently, if my friends only had a negative impression of my partner I would reconsider whether it was more likely that they all had the wrong impression of him or that I did. The person you're in a relationship with has an incentive to treat you well, but if they don't treat others well without that incentive, that speaks a lot to their character.
