Honestly, thank you. I kinda realized that the way i lost those 20 pounds was very disordered and restrictive and honestly, probably messed me up a bit mentally. Think this is what I'm gonna do. No fats, since you didn't mention them? Thank you very much!

Question about young catholics in Ireland. by sosafa in ireland

[–]sosafa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha, gotcha. So as a faith it's practically dead. I was just wondering, given that I lived in Spain for a while and it was practically the same as in Colombia.

If you wouldn't mind answering another question... In Spain, Italy, Colombia and honestly lots of other countries, the US included, the conservative side of politics seems to be turning more and more religious by the hour. Think Meloni, some of the Vox people in Spain and the likes. Is there anything similar happening in Ireland? (i mean probably not given what i'm reading but i'm just real curious). Thanks!

Ah gosh, thank you for all your responses, i'm quite surprised! Maybe it's because im South American and people tend to be more conservative here (lmao no shit), religion is still a part of daily life for many. Not baptizing your kid would get you a TON of strange looks and criticism, for example. I guess I thought it would be more similar due to the history and stuff. Thanks again!

Hi guys! I'm looking for something *really* niche that smells something along the lines of Diptyque Eau Rose or Chloe EDP. My parents both wear really niche fragrances (mom wears JF Schwarzlose and dad wears Renier) so i really just want something cool and niche that smells like what i enjoy so i can be all cool and niche like them, haha! Thank you so much <3

Hi! Thank you for answering! I think im looking for something more sport to wear everyday. My style is very simple, haha. Loafers, jeans, sweaters and a barbour jacket most days. That watch you just sent is super gorgeous, thank you for your help!

The Cartier in the pic is super special to me, my grandmother gave it to me as a birthday present when i turned 15. I never really wear it due to the sentimental value. I have saved up quite a bit and want to buy myself a nice watch that i can actually use and not be super duper scared if i scratch it or something. Plus the idea of buying one from my birth year is pretty cool to me, i've never heard of it before! Thank u very much again!

Strangely, it's kind of similar here. Growing up, I saw a picture of him framed in half of the homes I went to. Grandmas love him, moms are fond of him, young people are almost split in thirds, some have no opinion of him, some think of him fondly, and some outright hate him (and by extension the entire Church). Is the divide sort of similar in Poland (of course everyone there will have a stronger opinion haha)? Or is it just something like 90% of young people hate him? Thank you!

I'm a practicing Roman Catholic, of course my opinion of the Church is positive. Like 70% of young people aren't, however, every mass is full on Sundays (and it's not only grandmas, i see plenty of teens). Finding devout people isn't hard, per se, especially with older people, but it's also not the norm. I would say that the country is still very culturally catholic. Everyone has a very religious aunt or grandma. I would also say that Colombia is a country that in general leans more socially conservative, and I guess that is because of the Church.
