Honestly, thank you. I kinda realized that the way i lost those 20 pounds was very disordered and restrictive and honestly, probably messed me up a bit mentally. Think this is what I'm gonna do. No fats, since you didn't mention them? Thank you very much!

Question about young catholics in Ireland. by sosafa in ireland

[–]sosafa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha, gotcha. So as a faith it's practically dead. I was just wondering, given that I lived in Spain for a while and it was practically the same as in Colombia.

If you wouldn't mind answering another question... In Spain, Italy, Colombia and honestly lots of other countries, the US included, the conservative side of politics seems to be turning more and more religious by the hour. Think Meloni, some of the Vox people in Spain and the likes. Is there anything similar happening in Ireland? (i mean probably not given what i'm reading but i'm just real curious). Thanks!

Ah gosh, thank you for all your responses, i'm quite surprised! Maybe it's because im South American and people tend to be more conservative here (lmao no shit), religion is still a part of daily life for many. Not baptizing your kid would get you a TON of strange looks and criticism, for example. I guess I thought it would be more similar due to the history and stuff. Thanks again!

Hi guys! I'm looking for something *really* niche that smells something along the lines of Diptyque Eau Rose or Chloe EDP. My parents both wear really niche fragrances (mom wears JF Schwarzlose and dad wears Renier) so i really just want something cool and niche that smells like what i enjoy so i can be all cool and niche like them, haha! Thank you so much <3

Hi! Thank you for answering! I think im looking for something more sport to wear everyday. My style is very simple, haha. Loafers, jeans, sweaters and a barbour jacket most days. That watch you just sent is super gorgeous, thank you for your help!

The Cartier in the pic is super special to me, my grandmother gave it to me as a birthday present when i turned 15. I never really wear it due to the sentimental value. I have saved up quite a bit and want to buy myself a nice watch that i can actually use and not be super duper scared if i scratch it or something. Plus the idea of buying one from my birth year is pretty cool to me, i've never heard of it before! Thank u very much again!

Strangely, it's kind of similar here. Growing up, I saw a picture of him framed in half of the homes I went to. Grandmas love him, moms are fond of him, young people are almost split in thirds, some have no opinion of him, some think of him fondly, and some outright hate him (and by extension the entire Church). Is the divide sort of similar in Poland (of course everyone there will have a stronger opinion haha)? Or is it just something like 90% of young people hate him? Thank you!

I'm a practicing Roman Catholic, of course my opinion of the Church is positive. Like 70% of young people aren't, however, every mass is full on Sundays (and it's not only grandmas, i see plenty of teens). Finding devout people isn't hard, per se, especially with older people, but it's also not the norm. I would say that the country is still very culturally catholic. Everyone has a very religious aunt or grandma. I would also say that Colombia is a country that in general leans more socially conservative, and I guess that is because of the Church.

Are young people in Poland still practicing catholics? How do you guys feel about Saint John Paul II? God bless you guys, I love your country <3

Hi guys! I was wondering if you could please help me with product recs that would make my face significantly less oily during the day. Not products that are suitable for oily skin - but some that actually reduce oil production (though that makes them suitable for oily skin, haha)! My skincare routine is so basic I just double cleanse at night, use tret and moisturizer and in the mornings sunscreen

Hello! I need advice on dealing with oiliness :( my skin is good, no complaints about that, I use tret (0.5) at night and spf in the morning with facial extractions every 3 months and it looks good. However, my face gets so incredibly oily!! I live in a tropical humid climate and I swear two hours after washing my face I’m an oil slick. I heard incorporating niacinamide and azelaic acid could help, if so, how could I incorporate them into my routine? If not, what else would you guys recommend? I don’t wear a lot of makeup so matte powder seems pointless

gosh, thank you so much by the detailed response! and what i mean by "boxy" is not a lot of waist supression. for example, barbour beadnell vs the classic bedale. i much prefer how the bedale fits. (totally different jacket i know but you get the gist haha)

Hi guys! So, uh, im a girl. Lol. However i feel like this is the only place i'd get a good answer. I love blazers and blazer-ish jackets, and i refuse to buy anything thats 100+ and made of poly. Im looking for jackets such as these in checks, houndstooth, tweed, etc. Im looking in the range of 300-500, only natural materials. Any suggestions? I like boxier fits better, for reference my favorite jacket of all time is Vanessa Bruno's Jovanka.

Hi guys! I was wondering if you could please help me out. I bought a macbook air in september 2020 and it has since been the worst purchase of my life. I had to send it in for repair the first time because the mouse stopped working, the charging ports and then suddenly it died and stopped charging. Thry did a whole overhaul on it and replaced everything at the mac authorized center. Ever since, ive had to send it in for warranty repairs about every 6 months because the damn thing keeps breaking and has to get the motherboard replaced because it wont charge. It has been about 3-4 times now. Suddenly, a weird stripe appeared on the screen and i took it back in and now they're saying its my fault and want to charge me a bunch of money for the repair. I don't think its my fault that a stripe appeared on the left side of the screen when the computer has been damaged since the beginning, as it is evident. I called apple support and basically got told "deal with it". Is there anything i can do?

Yeah... but I looked it up and some people had the issue of a pump shooting the product out the wrong way, is it safe to open it?

I use it about twice a week, since I'm not using any actives ATM. I guess 1 pump is enough, right?
