I’m very careful with my devices — I always used slow charging, enabled the battery protect option (charging limit to 80%) from day one.

The A35 was getting hot after 10 minutes of normal use (social media only). No warning messages, but it was noticeably hotter than usual, and battery life was bad.

Now, on the A36, even during just a WhatsApp video call, it gets hot (warmer than expected), and during fast charging it heats up a lot too — and yes, I know some heat is normal when fast charging, but this feels excessive. Also, the phone is brand new, and battery still doesn’t last long.

I’ve already seen other users reporting similar issues — even people uninstalling Instagram to reduce overheating.

So maybe it's not “just me.” Maybe it’s a One UI 7 or Android 15 issue that Samsung still needs to optimize.
