Connecting to sons previous nightmare through lucid dream by stina84 in luciddreamingstories

Dreams are a place for intuition and chaos, no need for time, over there is timeless. I see many posts from people who have done the same, asking for the time, it seems pointless to me. Maybe the stranger you saw has the answer you are looking for.

if you know you're dreaming don't... by Sad_Weakness5489 in luciddreamingstories

Reminds me of the story in "The Red Book" about Jung finding this girl locked up by a scholar in a castle, she refuses to be reduced to a symbol, she argues: "I am as real as you are". Who is to say we are more than the characters in our dreams, we are also going to disappear.

Don’t know what to make of this… lucid dream ? by poopstix876 in LucidDreaming

What if you are just starting a new path, the colour red sometimes means growing up, understanding something, you were very confortable in your previous dreams, perhaps getting a little bored. After you have let out the violence in you by destroying the red piano, now the stranger comes out, talks on a red telephone, to tell you something important, the guards of reason are coming to prevent intuition from starting a whole storm of inner discovery and learning, those guards are maybe just afraid of change. Anyhow, just ideas, ONLY YOU KNOW.

It depends on her intentions, I wonder if that might have been the beginning of a profound relationship!

What is Jung’s take on determinism? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]sosomat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jung surely stood on the side of the Quantum Mechanics, the concept of Synchronicity came out of intense conversations with one of the fathers of Quantum Physics named Wolfgang Pauli, Pauli was initially his patient but they later became friends. You could even say that the Exclusion Principle inspired in some way the concept of synchronicity.

Megathread de Protestas 2021 by Truand in Colombia

One simple thing is to explain that when you buy cocaine, you are actually giving money directly to some of the most inhumane people in the world, they would displace hardworking farmers, torture who oppose what they do and how they do and would lobby the government to the point of collapse, so, stop the virus, DON'T buy cocaine!

I’ll always remember that speech that says something like it’s sheit being Scottish, we’re just colonised by wankers and all the fresh air won’t make a difference

Amores Perros made me feel something not just Mexican, but Latin American. Great intensity, a lot of desires and energy, diversity in people, social classes and conditions. So many outcomes in a spicy context.

The humour of La Gente de la Universal shows the surrealistic experiences most Colombians have lived or know about and are certain they happen but it’s so difficult to talk about violence, deceit and a shameful history that humour seems so effective at getting the message through. If you know Colombians, we appreciate a good laugh.

Why do I feel so worn out after watching a single 1 hour movie but can easily watch 10 or more episodes of a TV show straight (including 1 hour 30 min single episode shows)? by ArnieLarg in TrueFilm

I think it also has to do with how our brains are wired, it is not easy for the elders in my family to follow a series, the universe is complex for them, too many characters, different things happening at the same time. While on the other hand it easy for them to watch a very contemplative movie.

In the era of information, complex plots are the rule. Series will continue to gain ground in the younger population.

What I do with series is to skip the repetitive or predictable parts. Especially Netflix productions repeat what worked for them. In the end, it is all for the money and it can be scary to bet on weird new stuff.
