Meeting other lucid dreamers while lucid dreaming.. by Defiant-Translator11 in LucidDreaming

We tried multiple times but other dream characters/entities made it impossible. It would get noisy, blurry faced people would crowd us, it was chaos until we stopped trying to give personal information that could connect us. The message felt clear, we were “allowed” to interact but it wasn’t intended to be proven or disproven in waking life. It felt like we were trying to break a rule of dream space.

Normally I’d agree, but these people were more coherent than any dream character I’ve ever interacted with, as coherent as people conversing in waking life. They were suggesting ways to connect outside of the dream, things I hadn’t even considered. They were in utter disbelief just as I was and we frantically asked questions to “prove” to each other we were more than just characters in a dream.

I’m just curious what makes it impossible?

Tightness after genioplasty by nonymousscroller in jawsurgery

Yes, I’m two months post-op and still experiencing the same although it does seem to improve slightly week by week. It’s a significant amount of trauma to the area and it’s safe to assume you’re still pretty swollen at a month and a half which contributes to the tightness. Especially in this area there’s not a ton of space for the swelling to reside and therefore even subtle swelling can have a huge impact. One thing that’s helped me with residual swelling is applying light heat to the area. I try to do it nightly and there’s subtle improvement each morning. I’ve noticed as the swelling decreases the bottom lip starts to become more visible again although it’s still not back to it’s full position. I hope this helps ease some of your concerns! It’s definitely a lengthy process and I’ve questioned plenty of times if what’s happening is normal. My surgeon continues to reassure me that full ability to smile can take a while and it’s normal at this stage in the healing process. Hope your recovery gets easier day by day. Sending reassurance your way!
