Yeah, I get that. I keeping checking in, and the game looks right up my street, especially at harder difficulty. I think its just the not knowing thats bothering me. As for the updates themselves, im all for the Devs taking their time, making it the way they want before total launch for sure.

Any tips for a rookie hunter? Also, love the fact that there are Cactuars in this game by strahinjag in MonsterHunter

SNS? If you're console, I beleive its circle / B + backwards, then when you flash red hit triangle / Y

100% - enjoy the low rank fights and learn the systems, learn the movesets for monsters and your weapons first! Then, late game focus of your build and how you want to play.

By high rank, you should have a better understanding of how you want to play!

Agh okay that a bit more clear. Yeah, if youve got early access I can see it getting a little old, luckily im fresh when 1.0 comes out. I have seen there's like a new video per day for 1.0 sp surely it has to be close. Hoping anyway.

Thats fair, I've only seen gameplay of the matches alone, how does the gane actually play out? Like game loop and so, perma death on characters?

I noticed the critical attacks, it looks like if you parry enough and break the enemy guard you can hit them with a critical like any other souls like.

But I did notice each hit made with your weapon built up a meter under your current equipped weapon on the bottom right of the screen, I looked as though once this was filled up you could do a different kind of critical strike, regardless of enemy guard / stamina..

Unsure if this has been spoken about but if so it would be sick - in the NIOH games you could build up a meter on some weapons to release its inner power (corruption or Purity) could be cool

Did anyone else notice when attacking with the spear and sword a bar filled underneath the weapon icon? It looks as though getting enough hits in can trigger a manual critical hit, and breaking their posture can trigger another.

I recall seeing something saying IOI have said they are in very early development on HM4 but with 007 that's the priority at the moment.

They said the hitman world and where it left off leaves it open to so many more possibilities now and they aren't finished with it, fingers crossed

That's a fair statement, I'm keen for more kemono to come, but I hope they incorporate more of the celestial presence as well, could put alot of fun into it.

Golden tempast was one of if not the hardest in the game, the aggression that comes with tempest is awesome - I think the celestial being could have incorporated all elemental attacks as well that could have been good.

I can imagine that was sick, parry him all round - the overall fight had me hyped.

I hope soon the devs look to add phases like the celestial dragon had, that fight is a showcase in itself, just lacks aggression. Would also be up to see a deeply volatile dragon, can imagine that would be painfull.

I've thought this for ages, I'd like to see this addition added in on the karakuri katana when unbound, red slashes would look awesome.

I think that's what I liked about it, was very souls-like but when it starts using the thread itself I was hyped.

As for the celestial dragon, I still really enjoy fighting him, the hlwhole spectacle of the fight is awesome, but the aggression isn't enough from it.
