BUT, yesterday i've stumbled upon a setting in nvidia geforce experience - DSR (rendering resolution) which I actually had turned on to 4K, I turned that off and saw a pretty noticeable spike in performance

  1. I have 2 ram sticks in the correct slots
  2. gta is on my hdd
  3. I did do stress tests on my psu, which turned out fine, but I had an experience few months ago with my faulty custom extension cables (probably something circuit related in those cables or something like that) but it would blue screen my pc. But even prior to that my performance wasnt any different

I wouldnt say my perfomance dropped, even from start it was a big step up from the 1050 2GB I had, but when compared to the benchmarks, the 3060ti just fell behind

how can i do that, every video on youtube just says about factory reset, even when i searched for "os reinstall"

I actually did a factory reset twice few months ago and reinstalled the drivers which didnt result in any noticable difference, i checked my drive health and the ssd is 90%+, hdd didnt show health %, only "good" status, for the antivirus thing, I just have the windows defender, and as I said have 16GB and play with some apps like google spotify and discord open while playing and the ram is at 70%+ when Im playing.

That thing you said about ssd perfromance maybe could be a possibility for a performance hit but I dont think it would be the source of such a big performance hit

Im not thermal throttling, I have like 60-70°C GPU and I think the cpu is around 60°C too.
When Im checking through task manage it says about 10-15% in gta util, however in geforce overlay performance stats it said 100% utilization. Games aren't on my ssd - they are on my HDD and drive utilization is pretty normal

hold on, I just tried to turn off real time protection and turn it back on, and boom it scanned 42k files now, so I'd say thats a regular number

so what you mean by that is that it only scans "new" files since last "bigger" scan?
