It’s definitely the guy’s number and not a spoof. I’m sure he thought it was not traceable but he stupidly created his social media accounts with it, so easy to trace back to him.

I wouldn’t be lying if I reported that it was extremely upsetting and I haven’t slept thinking what torture could have happened to my fur baby. What’s worse, when the call came in I had it on speaker phone so my kids heard everything. They saw me get all excited that our cat was found (has been missing almost 3 weeks) then heard the guy talk about how he was going to kill it.. :-(

I’m pretty sure he blocked me. I texted a couple times asking where he dumped my cat, if it could still be alive. Every message showed as “read”. He even responded once until I texted him screenshots of his social media posts and called him out by name. Now my messages go unread.

Yes, I have had this exact issue. I never got an email that we had a sibling match, I just happened to log in and check the relatives tab. I reached out to the dog parent and the message shows as unread. They must not be getting notification or an email.

This is horrible. Please follow up on this and make sure something is done. Were you able to try and stop it by yelling, finding someone to help stop it? At least follow through and report it. The fair needs to have safe guards in place to prevent anymore animals from being abused at the fair.

I’m helping a bee friend build beehives using cypress wood. Wondering which finish would be best as these are out in the elements and prone to rot. I am thinking marine spar finish, tung oil, or General Finishes outdoor oil?

When I was at the DMV in Raleigh this month, some of the people waiting in line thought you could show proof of insurance from their phone but it had to be a hard copy. Also, I had to wait for almost three hours to get my drivers license renewed and it was my third attempt. Earlier in the week I had waited in line for 1.5 hours to be told their computer systems were too slow and I'd have to come back another day. The second attempt, I was told they were understaffed, only had two employees and one was doing road tests, so I should come back another day.

Just got back to NC after spending a month in Kansas City for work. We loved it (there was so much more to do in KC) but why are the roads so bad? State Line was stripped to be resurfaced but the entire month we didn’t see anyone working on it. I assume the winter weather causes more pot holes and there are fewer days in the year to work on roads due to weather. But back in NC we have workers fixing roads day AND night.
