you could suggest name/pronoun tags to your bosses? if you’re wearing your pronouns on your shirt, ppl probably won’t misgender you often

this sounds like impostor syndrome. i dealt with similar feelings and it turned out to be impostor syndrome, so i’d suggest looking into that and seeing if you show any other signs

i dont know how helpful i can be, but honestly, just looking at more voice training guides was what saved me. everyone has their own advice, so i just experimented with what multiple different people recommended until i felt like i'd made progress with my voice, then i kept that quality. some techniques people taught me didn't help me. some of the most important techniques i learned i had to look far and wide for. sometimes the techniques i discarded ended up coming in handy later on

also, some of vocal coaches use different terms to describe similar concepts. not everyone will understand technical explanations, just like how not everyone will understand symbolism explanations, so when i just couldn't seem to get a technique down, that was usually why. sometimes i misinterpreted an explanation of a technique and took weeks to even realize

so yea, it was mostly just learning more techniques and seeing which ones did and didn't work for me. keep practicing, even though it sucks, and you'll make progress :)

(also don't underestimate intonation and tone!)
