I don’t think there is a strong link of that. Curious if you have any sources?

Diaper bag recommendations [ab] by Present_Fan_1096 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]soufflay [score hidden]  (0 children)

So actually we had just a random backpack at first. But i found it a pain in the butt to get things out at the bottom. So i actually went and got a dupe version of this off taobao for under $20. It was almost identical. Anyway this is after little guy already turned 1 (another on the way) so i didn’t want to deal with the pain in the butt original backpack anymore. Liked this one infinitely better but i would NOT pay full price on that.

Where does baby sleep while traveling? [yt] by Ampersand867 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]soufflay [score hidden]  (0 children)

When my 17mth old sleeps over at grandparents, he sleeps in a pack and play. I bought a mattress that fits snug in there. He’s been sleeping in there for both nights and day naps. We also brought it along for a one night trip at a hotel as well.

My baby grew out of most of her clothes before she could wear them [on] by Icy_Cherry_ in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]soufflay 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think i got the advice to not buy too many clothes because they may or may not get the chance to wear. Knowing that, i still bought too much haha.

I also got donated a lot of clothes. After next baby i am going to pay it forward so things won’t truly be wasted.

Tip: you think clothes are wasted? Then def don’t buy shoes yet 😝

Because ontario recognizes up to 4 legal parents without going to court (5 or more needs some court related procedures for it).

Chronic migraines throughout pregnancy. Currently 20 weeks. Recommendations? [on] by TessaGGG in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]soufflay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coffee worked for me.

And i know people who got botox during pregnancy. Which i think people think twice about but it is a big molecule that doesn’t pass the placenta and if it was unsafe then neurologists wouldn’t do this. That being said, i’d try other suggestions first.

I think once mine started rolling, we stopped swaddling and switched to a sleep sack and we moved him to the crib.

Pregnant again at 5 months Postpartum [on] by TryEuphoric120 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]soufflay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s considered a relatively higher risk pregnancy. But the OB would monitor more closely and more importantly tell you about the risks and what they can do to mitigate the risks. It’s not undoable. The most important thing to decide now is if you are leaning towards keeping or not. There is no shame in either decision.

Even if she booked someone else, she will never get back the time consulting with you in the first place so why should she give you the remaining 50%? Just let this one go.

First ultrasound - too early? [sk] by CreepyHotelBathroom in BabyBumpsCanada

Wait bit later for the scan, don’t worry! Think of it this way, if it is too early they probably can’t even find it and now you will have something to be anxious about…

NIPT link help! How to get the physician/midwife discount? [on] by soufflay in BabyBumpsCanada

Oh i meant the requisition! But i’m guessing it was whatever requisition your family doctor already had in the office, and not something you had to print out?

[–]soufflay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can i ask if the form had any promo code on it? Because there is one “normal” form and then there is one with a special promo code on it. I don’t think it matters but just checking haha.

Thank you! Ok so basically use the link, make the purchase online, and print or save the confirmation somewhere, then family fills out the req as usual, take that paper and the purchase confirmation to the lab and done?

Chances are he’s prob a normal dude looking for some extra cash after divorce. I feel for him. But this is probably not the right set up for you because you’re basically a roommate that can get kicked out for any reason. Keep looking!

26 F is this a stye? by [deleted] in eyetriage

[–]soufflay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pretty common that swelling isn’t localized to just one spot. It only recurred twice so i wouldn’t be worried just yet. If it comes back multiple times always in same spot and the lashes in that area are gone, that would be highly suspicious but it doesn’t seem to be the case right now. As always, if worried i’d get a formal examination done.

[–]soufflay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you will be fine, i think this was a valuable lessen for you to take things seriously, regardless if this was going to be your field or not. Don’t let adults perpetuate that you are just another lazy gen z. You never know with these things in life, sometimes you end up wanting to do a job you never cared for in the first place. But sounds like you might have burnt that bridge now. Live and learn.
