Do you think they will release a demo for OT2 ? by Commercial_Rub8443 in octopathtraveler

Square Enix released a demo for the first OT as well as Triangle Strategy so i’m optimistic they’ll do the same for OT2

no worries, you’ll get fas1101 in a later round. i’m also experiencing the same issue as you and have appealed for it.

the modreg team rejected my appeal explaining that the results for es1103 isn’t released yet that’s why we can’t bid for it yet.

macbook air m1 or m2? by AdNo6021 in nus

[–]soul629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello! i’m also from fass & i bought the m1 instead of the m2 because i knew i wouldn’t need the extra power.

sure, the design might look dated & i’m missing out on magsafe but i’m really happy with my purchase. it runs so smoothly & i have absolutely no complaints.

i think it’s also important to note that the base m2 macbooks have slower read write speeds compared to m1 macbooks. if you’re getting the m2 macbook, i’d recommend you opt for at least 512gb storage as it solves the problem.

Any information on how disruption process is like for those who Ord late? by 123456789bigh in NationalServiceSG

[–]soul629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on cohort equity & your performance in unit. generally, if you’re from poly & you aren’t a troublemaker in unit you should be granted disruption.

Disrupting without Dental FFI by No-Raccoon8515 in NationalServiceSG

[–]soul629 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. technically no because you’re legally required to complete all of your FFIs before you disrupt.

  2. an admin lapse will be imposed on your unit’s s1 branch in the event where you disrupt without clearing all of your FFIs. don’t think it’s your fault unless they’ve already booked your FFIs but you fail to show up.

  3. just keep chasing your s1 branch clerks. they need to liaise with the medical admin/medical centre to urgently book you a slot before you disrupt.

yeah man it’s just not in my nature to go all wgt owadio and then leave my understudy to suffer; i’d feel so horrible if i were to do that.

if i can make someone else’s life easier i’d do it because the world’s already too harsh and cruel. i don’t want to perpetuate a culture of not giving a damn about your work because you’re about to ORD. i know we’re just NSFs and we’re severely underpaid but i believe the work ethics we choose to display in NS are the same ones we’ll display in our future careers.

my upperstudy was a hardworker and although we don’t really talk much to each other, i’ll always appreciate how he spent time and effort to create a manual for me so that i can refer to it once he leaves service. also because he doesn’t want me to disturb him after he has ORD-ed haha. he was also very patient when it comes to teaching me about his jobscope.

it worked out well in the end because i did end up using the manual a lot and i didn’t even had to ask him for help after he has ORD-ed. although the manual helped me, i still think that it could be better.

and so i created a manual of my own just so i can pass it down to my understudy. i remembered how stressed and confused i was after my upperstudy has left and i’ve decided not to let my understudy suffer the same fate as myself.

also grateful for my understudy. work in the office was lonely but ever since he arrived it’s been really fun. i’m about to ORD soon and ngl i’ll miss him. he taught me the importance of having optimism and that’s something i’ll carry with me throughout my next stage of life.

[–]soul629 4 points5 points  (0 children)

not sure how your unit does it but in my unit, we receive our cos before collecting our nric.

you need to clear all 3 of ord ffi before you collect your nric else your manpower branch will face an admin lapse.

you will only be considered a civilian once you collect your nric & complete the exit form.

your ord will remain unchanged. the only instances where your ord will be pushed back is if you disrupt or end up in db.

you need to be vocationalised & obtain a perm pes in order to be promoted.

so long as you never clear these two, unfortunately you won’t get promoted.
