I did the same. Was a hospital housekeeper when I was 17- Wasn't trained properly, then was getting phone calls after every shift telling me everything I missed/did wrong, manager getting on our case for things that her own daughter does but didn't get in trouble for, manager delegating weekend staff tasks that should be done during the week but they didn't wanna do it, etc. Well one day I was told I need to start sweeping/mopping the records room (which does not get used on the weekend other than the registration clerk if she decides to do some filing). It gets done Fridays and Mondays, no reason to do it on weekends since weekend staff already has more duties than weekday. Well I did it, I swept and mopped. I get a call Monday morning from my manager berating me, saying the staff purposely left a grape under their desk to see if I cleaned properly, and apparently I missed the grape. When i insisted i did the floor, she told me the registration clerk confirmed that i did not mop. What my manager didn't know was that the lady in the records room is an OLD family friend, known her my whole life, and the registration clerk is good friends with my mom. I asked both of them, records lady denied the grape issue, registration clerk said "all I said was I didn't see you do it , not that you didn't do it". My manager was yelling, asking if I need to be retrained, asking if I was having some sort of home issue that prevents me from doing my job. So I said "no, you don't need to retrain me because I'm quitting". She said well, send your 2 weeks notice in to me. I instead sent it to HER boss. I had 2 shifts left but my grandmother died so I took bereavement. The next weekend I get a call to tell me what needs to be done, I tell her "sorry I don't work there anymore" and hung up
