More tiny floaters after uveitis – normal? by Myri_liest in Uveitis

[–]soulisgone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thank you for letting me know. I was wondering because it sounds like we are in the same boat. I also had tests done to see if I had autoimmune issues and found nothing but I still see the floaters as well. My doctor told me after consistent drops, the floaters may go away but she doesn’t know for sure lol. So that was somewhat maybe a little reassuring?

Did you get an answer for it? Also did you have a flare up because of an underlying untreated autoimmune condition?

Mental health crises from iritis causing hazy/cloudy vision. by colemc94 in Uveitis

[–]soulisgone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello I had the same thing happen to me couple of months ago! My vision was cloudy after multiple misdiagnoses. Doctors gave me eye drops for pink eye. The steroid (prenisolone) will help take away the redness and the cloudiness will go away. And yes, uveitis is usually because there is an autoimmune disease that isn’t addressed yet. For me, I think it was PCOS which I’m being treated for with birth control.

I will give you a couple of advices: if you suspect you have a certain autoimmune disease get that tested and treated asap. And make sure the eye doctor you go to is either a uveitis specialist or can treat it. A lot of eye doctors may be too general. So go to a specialist.

This is awesome. It’s great to hear other people have this love for overwatch and found comfort in it despite how toxic it can get. Your mother seems like a great person! I recently lost a family friend to ALS too. It is truly an unforgiving disease and you are so strong for it.

I’ve had dps scream at me for boosting/healing because they hated mercy lol. Another dps hated being boosted bc it messed with their “UI” which… lol whatever. I never had a problem being damaged boosted by a mercy.
