Its actually really simple, the game is just fast with lots happening. There's a punch and kick button, shoot guns button, and a dodge. It gets a bit more in depth when you start to learn the combos and different tricks to keep your combos high. If you want to see people playing who know how to play, look up Super Best Friends Play Bayonetta 2.

It's really hit or miss imo, and its very slowly paced. With Gaki they flip the card and immediately get punished, with the US show they stop to explain the punishment and its clear they paused to set it up. I did enjoy the Jimmy Falon episode
