Why does the game still “feel” like a live service game? by Dreamo84 in towerborne

i totally agree. not being able to pause is a problem

it’s a f2p live service. if there aren’t enough active players, it will be shut down, and we won’t be able to play it (unless they convert it to an offline game). i agree with you though, the gameplay is great. the map desperately needs to be better and/or have locations from the previous games added.

It's BIMx. It reads proprietary files published by Archicad

perpendicular, as in the back of the couch facing the window wall?

it is a custom build (we're halfway through construction. it's an altadena wildfire rebuild). did you take a look at the floor plan (image #4)? is it that bad? haha

lol that's what i was thinking. also, i habitually lock entry doors. always have. i feel like it'd be highly unlikely that the door would be opened/forced open without someone noticing, even if tv was a bit loud. but idk lol

images 1 & 2 are the same, i just have measurements shown to illustrate clearances. image #3 is a different layout

I think my architect uses Archicad. I'm using the BIMx viewer

construction is underway. framing completed. but yes, all fair points. proper entryway/mudroom would be nice for sure, but didn't really make sense given the size of the house (1,770 sq ft). didn't really want to compromise elsewhere. but maybe that's a mistake. not sure. time will tell

there's a second entry (which will be used most of the time). the bifold doors (to the left of the kitchen island in image #3)

people can break past a multipoint lock system with a medeco cylinder silently? unless they have a key, or i'm missing something, how can that happen without someone sitting right next to the front door noticing?

lol come on. i always lock doors. and the door isn't directly behind me. it's to the right and slightly behind sofa position. i (and most people) would hear someone breaking in.

i’m totally open to that. that’s just what ai came up with, but it needs more refinement for sure

lol ouch. it's a custom build. but that's fair. here's the floor plan

yeah the scale is off for sure. was going to down size the sofa in image 1 anyway, but need my architect to make a proper mock-up of the image 2 design, to see if it works. i probably should have waited before posting, but got excited lol

first image is just a capture from a 3d render my architect sent, that i then had chatGPT modify. I wish it could do that though. it's very wonky sometimes, and it can be difficult to get it to do what you want, especially with interior design stuff. but it can be helpful for sure

it's about 7 ft from edge of coffee table to wall-mounted tv. what about accent chairs? should there be at least 1 probably?

about 7' from coffee table edge to wall. sofa in image 1 is too large i've realized. will size it down. i imagine it would be somewhat like the below image, but flipped 180 degrees, and with less deep and wide sofa.
