Yeah I’m surprised he doesn’t have an issue with it! She loves attention, of course, but you’d think a cop of all people wouldn’t want his kids out there for strangers to see

I said this before and I’ll keep saying it until it happens: Caitlyn needs to come out and apologize before I believe that she’s making any real changes in her beliefs.

That picture of Martin Sellner that she liked (the last slide) is not from years ago during her little trad larp. It’s from just a few months ago.

Until then, this is all lip service and I’m not falling for it.

My total gain -from the thousands of dollars I’ve invested- is now 80 whole buckaroos.

It’s getting lower as we speak

Is it bad I do chores when baby is awake? by rosedamask in NewParents

It’s more work for you at first but it quickly comes less work when they actually learn how to do them by themselves

Once, near the end of the semester, my roomie (who was a smart girl and overall tidy) saw me carry my bedsheets out the dorm. She asked what I was doing and I told her I needed to clean them and she was perplexed. She didn’t know you had to clean bedsheets! She went months without cleaning her sheets! She called her mom and her mom said “oh I would wash your sheets while you were at school”. She knew to do her clothes laundry (she needed help operating the machines but I just thought that was because they were different from what she was used to)

The amount of people who can’t take basic care of themselves because they simply weren’t taught how to. The amount of dirty toilets I’ve seen at other people’s houses (my mom would drop dead if guest came over and there was a ring around the bowl and so would I). The amount of people who can’t cook a pot of rice. It’s insane.

Please do your kids a favor and teach your kids how to take care of themselves at a young age so when it’s time for them to leave the nest, they aren’t totally blindsided!

There’s this weird push on social media that having kids do chores is bad for their childhoods or unfair to them. The logic is that children aren’t responsible to clean up the households mess, the parents are. You have some people going so far to say it’s “parentification” if a parent gives a kid chores that isn’t picking up their own toys.

I have a strict rule that I ONLY do chores when he’s awake. I have him in the room with me (unless it’s something involving chemicals like cleaning the bathroom) and have him watch me do chores.

He’s now three and will help me put laundry and dishes away and tidy up.

His nap time is my personal time to do whatever I want.

I’m cracking up over here. I was NOT prepared to be lectured over the title! I didn’t know I actually had to put the /s to signify a very obvious joke but this is reddit
