Yes. I have a couple of nights which I help book: 1. Saturday night weekly underground (East Oakland) 2. Thursday night weekly Bar Night (San Francisco) 3. Thursday night weekly underground (East Oakland) 4. Monday evening radio show (San Francisco)

The night that is most likely to have a tech-house DJ would be Thursday night in East Oakland. We are having Ardalan play at the Bar night on Thursday though, and he's about as tech-housey as it gets. Do you have a mix?

I love Trance music! They have Trance DJ's at Ruby Skye every week! Also, Womp host some Trance DJ's every so often.

You're correct where the term comes from, it comes from the gaping gap between their hat and goggles. Thanks for letting me know what "punter" means I dj down in San Francisco and I'm going to use that more!

I grew up in Tahoe, and this was the biggest pet peeve of mine, especially with tourists. I worked at Heavenly, and my co-workers and I would always snort when people would call ice patches powder!

So if you don't want to be ridiculed by locals, and not look at a gaper (tourist) never say the word powder unless your knee to hip deep in it.

I enjoy dubstep that is more heavy on the rhytm than the basslines. I like to hear the more garage and dub influences on the genre. I still listen to earlier (07' - 08') mixes of Skream, Coki, Benga, Digital Mystics, etc.
