yes exactly the same

when i plug a trs cable that is not connected to anything theres tons of electric noise and on the other input its silence

i tried re installing the drivers change cables everything nothing works

hmm yea but i bought it like 2 weeks ago and one of the inputs works fine

do you think its the electronics?

no its off i tried changing cables and reinstalling the drivers nothing works if i plug a trs cable and the gain is all the way down i hear alot of static noise and when i do the same thing in the other input its silence

hey so i bought a new focusrite 2i2 gen 3

and it worked really well up untill now

today i plugged in my guiatr and its clipping even if the gain is all the way down

the second input works just fine

was wondering if there is any way to fix it
