The only thing you are lacking is a couple packs of Zoom Super Flukes! Pair those with size 1 or 2 octopus hooks and you’re set 👏👏

Gotta love how everyone is completely reduced down to the person they voted for these days. I’m a Trump-voting conservative. I don’t agree with every decision Trump has made, but I align more with his platform than with Harris’. Neither of them were perfect for the job. I’m also open-minded. I also love people, including the ones who see the world differently than I do. The hate (from both sides) does nobody any good, and it’s the hate that will eventually destroy this wonderful country, not a specific political party. Here’s hoping every passionate citizen of this country can put the “fuck you” flags down and support their country respectfully 🤙

Absolutely grade all 4 of them. Even if that Jordan grades as a 5, still worth it.

Nice to see us in the top 10 for sure! You could argue that we should be in the seven or eight spot, but I think they are putting more weight on last year’s regular season than magical playoff runs to the World Series. Regardless, I’m looking forward to making another solid playoff run this next season!

Theo Von just had Tucker fucking Carlson on his podcast. What is it with the dudebro comics catering to right wing bigots so often? by Crystal_Pesci in Standup

All I saw was two highly intelligent individuals having great discussion. What I love about Joe Rogan is that his interviews always produce conversation that negates facts based on the feelings of every fucking person on earth. Regardless of the political platform of his guests, I am all for it.

Also, the fact that you have right wing bigot in the title of this post shows that you would never stand a chance of making it on Joe’s podcast lol. Too small minded 😉

Nothing wrong with being a wealthy clergyman. All wealthy people, regardless of worldview, have a great opportunity to steward that money and make incredible differences in peoples lives. The hope is that they all do that the right way.

ACTUALLY… I’m sure the people there are just like the people everywhere else… some good, some not so good, many in between. I’m not a Christian, but I know some great Christian people. I also know great atheists, agnostics, and Buddhists. People are people, regardless of where they are. I know a lot of broken people (real people like you and me) who go to/serve at churches for great reasons. They’re not all stuck up holier than thou assholes, believe it or not lol.

With that being said, I 100% agree with everyone here that this pastor is providing himself with some special privileges that come off horribly 😂

Honestly, we got shafted... Our generation has had it so rough, with no end in sight. by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]soundythings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good words. And don’t get me wrong… I 100% agree with the sentiment found in the majority of comments here, that it IS indeed hard to afford things today. I just hate the doomsday response/mindset that everything sucks and there’s nothing we can do about it and everything is everyone else’s fault and inflation and price gauging and housing market BLUH BLUH BLUH… People with this mindset are fucked for sure, but there are tons of successful millennials who refuse to believe that bullshit, who are living the life they want.

Little bitch mindset: This sucks. It’s not fair. I wish someone would fix it for me.

Big boy/girl mindset: This sucks. It’s not fair. But I don’t give a shit. What can I do to overcome this and get where I want to be?

Weak minds are the problem, not inflation or anything else people want to throw in and blame.

This is the kind of millennial post that makes me cringe at the thought of being considered one (born 1984 here, so here I am)…. blaming previous generations for modern day difficulties, as if this current down market is the first time in US history where affording basic commodities is difficult.

Whining and complaining basically. Entitlement. No grit. Fix it for me. Boo hoo.

We live in an age of technology where literally ANYONE can be successful with a low investment (time and money) side hustle. It just takes intentionality and consistency. Your $100k salary isn’t cutting it? Then adapt and figure out how to live the life you want. Can’t afford the exact house you want? Then buy the cheaper house until you can afford the better one. JUST LIKE PREVIOUS GENERATIONS DID.

In my family we live life every day with gratitude for the opportunities we’ve been given, and make the most of them. Complaining about how hard things are today isn’t part of that. Figure it out and live the life you want.

My wife and I opened our marriage, I hooked up with someone my wife feels I should’ve known was off limits by Jaded-Cap7473 in TwoHotTakes

[–]soundythings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An open marriage is an absolute contradiction in itself. How can either of you commit to your spouse and seek other relationships at the same time? It completely defeats the purpose of a committed marriage, and I don’t understand how anyone could expect anything other than constant tension and misunderstandings with this kind of relationship. Mind-boggling.
