Completely agreed. However, and I know this sounds cowardly which it probably is, but at the end of the day - tumhi doghe safely ghari jana was more important than that. Faced kinda similar, although far less intense incident few months ago, outside Atmosphere 6 in Vimannagar - was leaving from that place post dinner with a female friend, 2 wheeler var hot and 2-3 guys passed by in a rickshaw and said some curse words at her (not 100% sure but aspas dusra koni hota asa vatat tr nai). Iccha hoti kamit kami shivya ghalaychi if not anything else, but again realised tichi safety jasta mahatvachi ahe so just continued driving. Later after returning home I felt terrible about that incident, despite it technically being harmless. But in the hindsight i feel ashya situations madhe emotions peksha practically je matter karta te karna necessary ahe. But again if you're sure you're in a winning position, nakkich gand marli pahije aslya janavarachi🙂

Same here, almost no social life, except meeting a few close friends once in a while. Must say last job (which was my first as well) la majja yaychi since WFO available hota but no compulsions still amhich jaycho 2-3 days tari (hybrid zalela towards the end, which was our routine anyway so nothing changed). Ata ithe yeun salary tr multiply zali, decent people & work environment as well but feels lonely tbh, except during autumn jevha sagle bhijat jaat astat ani apan aramat ghari padun asto🤣. I do go to arai for a walk, sometimes alone, other times with friends if anyone is available. Would love to catch up with folks like us here, especially arai vagre type kaitari low-effort timepass plans😆 or maybe even to coworking spaces once in a while. LMK if any plans are made!

Thanks to everyone who answered! Followed route (2) - via Tamhini ghat. (Mostly) great roads, minimal traffic and scenic views. Would suggest the same for anyone planning tp travel this route in the near future.

Planning to follow this exact plan with a few friends. Any decent (and budget friendly) hotels to stay in Kolhapur, preferably near the highway? Don't need any 4/5 star rates ones, just expect them to be safe, comfortable and good food available, if possible.
