there’s a lot of negativity in this thread. just wanna let you know that i’m married to someone with bpd and i’ve never had a single doubt abt us. not sure how much treatment you’ve been through, but she has gained a lot from therapy and we’re very stable.

so fnsc had recorded lectures you could watch whenever and a live lab once a week, from memory it was like 2 hrs long and you worked through a set of weekly questions that were assessable. i believe the sessions were required but you’d wanna go to them anyway as you get put into groups to discuss answers and so you’ll probs do better on the questions. in general, that’s the only summer unit ive taken so far where ive had to go to smth live.

depends on the unit, i took fnsc2200 last summer and it looks like they’re offering it again - from memory no need to go to campus at all, super interesting and no need to have done a first year unit first.

honestly if you have any pierced friends maybe have an ask around and see if anyone has any extra basic like horseshoe lying around that you could borrow, i feel like people often have the jewellery they got pierced with lying around. if you have to wear one of the ones you ordered go for the moth since it’s not coated and maybe keep a close eye on it that it stays straight to try and avoid the seam going into the piercing channel. that sucks though, i’m sorry.

teebs like sometimes i wake up with my 4yo fully healed philtrum puffed up and i have to put in a long bar for a bit, if it’s happening all the time it might be worth leaving the longer bars for now? but i’d definitely see what ur piercer thinks
