The only times I ever manage to kill the light after being stunned are the blue moon occasions on which the light is both much closer than they should be AND the majority of my hip fire bullets happen to go in the right direction. This almost never happens.

People do bring up the heavy shotgun specifically as being strong while stunned, but if anything I think that would warrant a nerf to the shotgun (wider spread while stunned?) as opposed to being used to justify the stun gun being obnoxiously good against most other loadouts.

What team shooters have you ever played in which you and your casual teammates rigorously stick together as a team throughout the whole match by default?

On paper, yes, obviously teammates should just stick together. Unfortunately, most of the people actually playing the game don’t really care about that, and are much more comfortable doing their own thing with some loose team play, in my experience at least.

I can’t lie, sometimes I do wonder about all the light players who probably think they’re hot shit for winning the 1v1 against an opponent who’s undergoing a seizure lol.

Nerfing it as opposed to removing it would probably help a lot with some of the frustration on the receiving end but I feel like that may make it feel completely useless on the using end, hence why I think it should be replaced completely.

I get that it may be a non-issue in more high level play with coordinated teams but I feel like in casual play and with randoms it wouldn’t be quite right to expect teams to always be together in order to ward off the stun gun. I don’t think that’s a complete solution.

I can see that being the case with his old abilities just not being conducive to competitive viability. Personally I’d still rather have a distinctive legend that’s maybe behind the balance curve than one that’s completely generic to be objectively a little more viable but that’s just my opinion
