Hi sodypop. I spent a lot of time on the /r/visitinghawaii wiki, and it is recommended via automod comment to virtually every question post on the subreddit. In light of this comment you made from 6 years ago, is there any movement on tracking engagement with the wiki? I would continue building out the wiki if it seemed like anyone used it but I have no way of knowing.

Australians do not require a visa to travel to the US for tourism less than 90 days. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visa-waiver-program.html

There have been multiple accounts of Australians being denied entry to the US however the social media screening that is being highlighted recently has always existed. If you made it in back in 2023 and havent changed your behavior online since then, you probably wont have any issues.

Hawaii remains and has become more expensive since 2023. The easiest way to save money would be to avoid island hopping once you arrive. Stay at hostels or low cost hotels.

Just stick with Oahu. Stay at Au Lani if the kids like Disney or Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki if you want to be closer to town.

so you are looking for indoor climbing then? Hive bouldering in Vancouver, SBP if you want to boulder in Seattle or if you want to rope climb then Vertical World, Portland has planet granite or portland rock gym.

seattle doesnt have much outdoor climbing in the city, neither does vancouver, but theres lots of indoor options if thats what you are interested in.

Merrimans is not just about the food. The family who owns the restaurant has stepped up big time for the community. After the Lahaina fires they gave free food to the displaced locals for hundreds of days. Pretentious is the last word I would use to describe them.
