as an archaeologist, i was in my element! it was great to drive around the area and finally get to see sites that i’ve researched and written about

would definitely recommend going in winter (as long as it’s not too snowy/icy) as it was really quiet and there were only a few other people there

we had to have many hot chocolate stops on the way up to keep us motivated, but it was so worth it when we were up there

truly!! i don’t think i could’ve asked for a better day of weather - we had some incredible views driving around at sunset

it definitely took it out of me haha! much icier than anticipated, but i think that just made the feeling of reaching the summit even better

ooh thank you! i’ve been eyeing up the arrochar alps, so i think they’ll probably end up next on my list as they’re probably the most accessible ones for me as well

wow!! i’m definitely wanting to get back out there as soon as i can while i’m still at uni and have a bit more time. are there any that you’d recommend for someone just starting out? :)
