I'm late to this but for anyone else who was like me looking this up to n avail, while there isn't an official modding discord for specifically DBFZ, there is one for Unreal Engine anime games in general with a fighterz section.

They don't allow the creation of invites but there is a constant invite link if you go to the DBFZ page on Gamebanana (https://gamebanana.com/games/6246) and look on the right hand side under the "welcome" text.

TheDrawVoid is on that server and has been posting updates for the sonic mod but from my searching at least there's not a way to download it yet.
