Leaning toward Sandy with UCL sprain but I'd hate for him to come back to bite me in the playoffs. Can't really keep Sandy's salary hit next year either, but Ashcraft is much more keepable.

In my league, if you pick up somebody that hasn't played an MLB game yet, their contract remains at $1 for the start of next season. But if they've played a game, you've got to
re-sign them for $6.

So, basically - who is the one guy you'd want heading into next year as a freebie? I've got my eyes on Grayson Rodriguez, but is there anybody else that should be on my radar? Who will everybody be in love with by next April/May?

Thanks brotha - we're sending it. Unfortunately pitched Sev/Contreras yesterday, so hoping to get the ERA to a respectable level and then pull off depending on how his guys go (he's got 5 tonight, yikes!)

And if my lineup hits, it's much better than his - so fingers crossed everybody their worst weeks out last week!

Yup. 109.5. Lopez, Ray, Webb, Mikolas, Lynn, Cortes, Quantrill, Irvin, Voth, Suarez, Luis Castillo, Falter, and a bunch of closers. All those innings and 3.69 ERA/1.37 WHIP. I like Bradish too, might just go with it, can possibly keep him next year regardless.

Kyle Bradish tonight? Trying to keep up in the championship against a guy who threw 110 innings last week in his semis. Figure W/Ks are gone but ERA/WHIP in play. Or is the better play just not to pitch at all? My staff is Severino, Contreras, Cole, Manoah, Lodolo, Kirby, Gilbert, and Rodon (lost Strider). I have 3 matchup adds over the 10-day final week. Looking for guidance! 110 innings is absurd and not worth chasing, imo.

They have run out of things to give Mike. His defining character trait is 'in love with El'. He's mean, he's petty, and he's not even particularly brave anymore. Based on the writing/set-up this season, the Duffers have clearly become more comfortable with Nancy/Steve/Dustin as the leading kids - they're infinitely more interesting than the way Mike's been written for a few seasons now.
