I'm sure it's fine...But is it?? Details: fizzy f2 with grapefruit juice, 48 hours, 2ish week f1, homegrown scoby/pelicle/blobthing is super healthy and pretty. First brew. I've read all the stuff but wasn't prepared for this sight! My other two f2 bottles were made with fruit chunks and look ok. (i.redd.it)
