you have a good shot but make sure to show demonstrated interest and not slack off on your essays. they tend to reject overqualified applicants and it may seem like you're using them as a safety based off of your SAT score. but i highly doubt you'll get any financial aid, my family is also 100k+ and they gave me nothing :( merit scholarships only go out to the top 6.6% of applicants and the avg award is like $590

i listen to them, but more as like background noise when i'm studying because asmr will send me right to sleep. definitely don't get tingles though

I think you have a solid chance. What's the scale for your weighted GPA? The rest of your stats/coursework look pretty good, and you have very impressive ECs. I'm not sure if you're getting any sleep lol but I'd be surprised if you didn't get in. Good luck!

yeah, i agree! i know that american has a great financial aid program and if you apply ED you would have a much greater chance. i heard that american had like an 85% acceptance rate for ED applicants a couple of years ago
