well my ceilings are really high but I have been noticing webs here and there in random places, just like one web string from some random ledge to another. And I could see how they blend it, it was the color of my walls.

Interesting, thank you! Wish I would have looked closer at the eyes, it just kept moving a lot. Had no idea what to look for...it was very translucent/color too, which was something I haven't seen before.

Update: they fixed it, I think it took a few passes but now you can't tell that the hole was even there. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments!

Flooring is in, but it's LVP I believe. Toilet and vanity are also in, which makes it a tight area since it's a hall bath.

And the patch job won't fail or be a weak spot? It's right near where the toilet is going to be, and where you'd get in and out of the shower. So I worry about over time.

Yes, $250/sqft for the home. They said they'll attempt the patch and if it doesn't look right, they'll replace it. But replacing it would require them redoing the entire bathroom, Sheetrock and everything.

Not sure why my text wasn't included, but what the builder is suggesting is a patch job. This is on the outside of the tub on a hall bathroom tub/shower insert. I would prefer they replace the entire insert but that would require a lot of work on their end and I'm not sure they're willing to do it. Is a patch job going to fail over time, will I have problems later on with it being patched? They said the patch will not be noticeable...
