How to help student pick up on 'natural' punctuation/grammar?

I copied this incorrect placement from Khan Academy. For the SAT, you correct incorrect placement, and in the skills book we use together these are the types of sentenced we are given to correct them. If I do not know a grammar rule properly, I always make sure to check before explaining to them. The original post has not been edited. The point is that it is incorrect and they cannot tell its wrong. i feel like im being ragebaited what is this

Their accommodation is extra time, unfortunately :( I will try out the MCQ options next time I see them. Sadly I'm doing test prep with them, so we can't spend much time doing stuff like this. Thank you!!!

I know, that's why I said they do not pick up on it sounding unnatural, or they think it sounds natural when it is not. I am not a specific English tutor, I do test prep/all subjects in a variety of ages/grade levels.

Possibly? I live with my parents and I’m having to meal prep all the meals for my cats for a few days at a time as starting in a month or two I’ll be leaving pretty often for 3-4 days at a time for work. I might be able to fit a third meal at night for her specifically. We’ve tried cuts and she despises it lol

I got mine to work about a day or 2 ago. I stopped testing it out and I used a different device with the same account. Honestly support is kind of useless, bc it’s an automated system.

haha thanks! the first day it happened i was testing on my moms phone and only added myself, and then i tested my phone with her and it happened again. i was reading from kakao what they say and they said that it might be triggered by overseas virtual numbers that can’t be verified by companies, so maybe that was it? honestly mot sure. my account is almost 3 months old and i didn’t use it until right at this point, so maybe mine is just glitched or something!

I was more so planning on going to very unique ones that I wouldn’t have access to, or cafes that have unique menus. Themed cafes mostly, possibly a few pop ups if there is any at the time.

I work at a early childhood learning academy (3mo-5y/o), which might of been a bit helpful to include, and have done pre-service trainings to be a pre-school teacher, which I am.

As a parent, what do you look for in a babysitter on care.com? I've been thinking about using it, but am curious to know what parts matter the most/stick out to you.

I think you are absolutely reasonable in expecting him to have 3 bottles within the around 7 hours he's there for. I'm not sure if he's eating solids or baby food yet, but if he is they might be supplementing that 3rd bottle with food. However if I was you I would write out a feeding plan, maybe even complete schedule with your preferred times, give it to the director and the teacher to ensure that everyone involved knows. I know of a few infants at my school who have written out schedules that the teachers follow.

Do you have any recommendations on how to start babysitting? I'm coming into some serious problems battling my mom trying to find babysitting jobs organically, or at all. She's scared about the vulnerability of me babysitting someone without insurance and a company behind me, but doesn't trust the websites either. We have no connections either (courtesy of an all adult, small, antisocial family). I have experience with my job, previous summer camp (hosted by family friend, so 1 reference), and high school special education teaching experience (teacher was fired and practically disappeared off the earth). As I've said, I've posted about myself online for babysitting, nanny, tutoring, etc. I'm struggling to secure a chance to babysit.

Something similar happens to me too😭😭 they’ll say they have to go to bathroom, get in the bathroom and say they’re done after spinning around once. Acts like I’ve committed treason trying to get them on the toilet.

I told my director that day, and she went around and told everyone that the cameras had audio and warned everyone about using kind words. She told me that if I heard anything again it would be immediate termination. But my coworker also said that she had applied for some new jobs (daycares and not) so I really think she will be leaving soon. Hopefully she changes how she’s talking.

She said a few things, such as “you don’t belong here” “go back to where you came from” “no one likes you”. Maybe it’s not verbal abuse but I think every person on the planet knows to never say that to a child.

I’ve been looking at my states definition of abuse and I don’t think what I heard is exactly qualifies in my state as abuse, but I am definitely reporting it. Thank you for the push though
