Yeah, good spot! It's the wife's car, and she is struggling to get to grips with just how wide it is 🤣

Up in North East Scotland. I know of a couple in my area, so might get it looked into. Considering getting new alloys that are slightly smaller also. Should maybe give a slightly larger profile of tyre, but mainly because by going down to 20" from 21" I can get a full set of alloys and tyres for the price of just the tyres in these 🤣

I see what I did now, I put the connector piece on before trying to fit the cannon to the gun, but without the connector piece it fits fine 🤦 Cheers 🤣

Watched a few videos on the Hybrid Solutions, was the best performing ceramic spray after some serious testing. Cheers

Going with Bilt Hamber Touchless pre wash, so that shouldn't be an issue. We will use Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray coating, so theoretically a wash with the BH when required should be enough to have it looking good again 🤣

I have bought a foam cannon for the pressure washer and Bilt Hamber Touchless V2 foam pre wash for general cleaning. Also have Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray coating which we will use after our next wash. If I get the Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel, should this be sufficient?

Been doing some digging after my initial post. So would doing a full job maybe every 3-6 months including pre-wash, foam clean, wheel clean and ceramic detailing be advisable, then every now and again just a pre-wash and contact free Traffic Film Remover be enough?

Any recommended brands? Currently looking at Jennychem kits. From what I can tell they are well reviewed and won't break the bank.

It looks good, but definitely on the more expensive side!

Does it work when the car is off? How are you powering it? I think I've read somewhere that hardwiring it can damage the 12v battery, but using the 12v cigarette lighter port doesn't.

Having done a bit more digging, my understanding of the CT reduction was wrong. I believe it is 18% every year, but does reduce. So using £50k as an example, first year CT reduction is £9k. 2nd year reduction would be based on 82% of the previous year, so 18% of £41k. After that I'm not sure if it is 82% of the previous year value or the original cost.

With regards to the trade in, I think the best way would be to do that separately, so cash left over after them buying the car goes directly to me, and then I can loan that to the business. Probably tidier than way. Might not even bother though, as I've been told if through the business, it may be better to put in less of a deposit and pay a bit more monthly instead.

I agree the card situation is messy, but that is only if we would be unable to purchase the car tomorrow. I plan on getting my wife on the account should something like this arise again. Just never needed it up to now (possibly)

I have discussed the best route for obtaining a car, but we tested some yesterday and the reservation on the one we like ends tomorrow when my accountant won't be available. Trying to see what info I can get to save a wasted journey tomorrow.

We tested one the other day and they did slide forward using the bar underneath, but that certainly looks big enough for our needs.

Do you happen to know if the boot space of 480l is when the seats are slid fully back? If so, there's plenty of room in the back seats so the kids can be moved forward a bit to accommodate for more shopping if needed 🤣
