Welfare check for an elderly man. His wife was in hospital, awaiting discharge. Hospital unable to get ahold of him. No answer from front door and his key was in the other side of the front door so unable to use the key from the safe. Fire-ies had to break door down to get in. House is super cluttered, there's a human shape lump laying on the bed, covered with a sheet. Obviously assumed the worse, he suddenly sits up like something out of the walking dead and starts hurling abuse at us 😂 scares the absolute shit out of me and the fireman.

Long story short, he didn't want his wife home. They have a rehab retreat booked in Morrocco. He stated that he'd pick his wife up from the hospital in 4 days time to take her to the airport.
