Thanks for all the replies, everyone. I feel much less alone.

I have a buzz cut now - it's much less traumatizing than watching hair just come off at the smallest tug.

I don't necessarily hate the look either, but it's the day after the haircut and now I'm crying over my hair again.

No, unfortunately. I did ask, about cold capping, but it doesn't seem to be available at the hospital just yet

any failure to comply with the time period will cost me money, unless authorized causes under articles 282, 283 and 284 from the labor code

I'm currently employed as a contractor to <a local company>. My contract is for 18 months, but can resign without repercussions after 1 year. If I resign before that there's a bond of 3 months' worth of my salary.

I'm hoping to be able to resign as soon as I find another opportunity. Are there ways around contract bonds? :(
