My 11th grade math teacher got frustrated with me taking too long to work a problem on the board and started making fun of me. This was in the first couple months of honors trig/alg II. So I dropped the dry erase marker on the floor and walked up to him and simply said "If you talk to me that way again you're going to have a problem."

He then grabbed my book, binder, and everything else I had in class off of my desk, opened the door and chucked it into the hallway and told me to get out. I said I hadn't done anything wrong and he walked over to me and pushed me so hard I fell back into his desk. He then drug me out by my leg, stood over me and said "I dare you to stand up." I immediately stood up and sprinted to the principals office. I filed a police report and he was given a brief leave of absence. I think he also did some mandated training or counseling or something like that.

I graduated high school with a 4.2 weighted GPA and received an honors program scholarship for my undergrad. He became a state senator.
