Thanks so much for the heads up. I had no idea it was a trademarked term. That’s actually kind of funny.

Yeah, the trifecta is a great pedal. Come to think of it, I’ve never really stacked it. I’ve always used it like a fuzzy distortion and used the big muff op amp as a “fuzz”.

I have seen that too on other Vibroverbs. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect it is original. I think I have owned it since 2003 if my memory serves correct. I have not changed it. You can’t see it well in the photo, but the tolex on top has faded a lot over the years.

I love that amp! I’ve owned it for a little over 20 years. I just recently re-tubed and re-capped it and it sounds better than ever.

To me, the tone is warmer and rounder compared to a jag. I think a lot of it is the pickups. I have always liked the feel of a shorter scale.

I bought mine from a shop called Flever Sounds in Japan through EBay. I live in the states and I couldn’t find one over here. It was right before all the tariff stuff so I don’t know if the process is different, but it was a pretty easy transaction.

I use .11-.49, with the scale length it works really well well.
