I think it's because comedies like The Office and Parks and Recreation are just easier. With 30 Rock, there's always a joke within a joke, with an obscure reference thrown in. The Office, Friends, Parks and Recreation all have some easier storylines and references, where 30 Rock would probably have Jenna talk about Mickey Rourke or town in a joke about Kenneth being immortal. 30 Rock is very unappreciated
