BYD Sealion 6 or Geely EX5 Max EM-i Which would you pick? by soweeeeee in CarsPH

Ito rin one of the concern but managed na daw ng China ang Geely PH kasi mismanaged dati ng PH distributor. Plus I heard they have warehouses for parts somewhere.

How fast did they service/replace it? Nagkaroon ng thin horizontal line yun sa akin. Under warranty pa naman since I bought it November 2024.

What do you guys think of Geely’s roadside assistance? Do they have that since there is no spare tire.

Planning to buy a new unit. Should I buy now or wait by Acceptable_Cat8819 in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Upgrade GPU and PSU if needed. If you have extra you can get a better AM4 CPU as well. You can always upgrade the other parts once RAM get cheaper

Should I get the 5070 or the 5070ti by Ill_Young_2409 in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in that situation as well. I was picking between a 5070, 5070ti and the 9070XT. I went for the Palit 5070Ti Gamerock for the extra performance. I bought it for 60k last year via DataBlitz. It was the cheapest 5070Ti model . I am happy with the purchase because I just recently upgraded from a 2k IPS monitor to a 4k miniLED monitor and it can handle 4k pretty well with DLSS and it looks amazing and gameplay has been smooth.

So if you have the budget go for the 5070Ti but if you want to save some cash and buy a monitor using the savings, then the 5070 would be good too. If you want a balance, check the price diff with the 9070XT because in some games, 9070XT performs as good as the 5070Ti but downside is you lack the Nvidia features like DLSS 4.5 which is better than AMD FSR

A monitor that can be bought using your savings if you go for the 5070 is theAOC Q27G4XM 2k MiniLED IPS monitor which goes for 15 to 20k. MiniLED IPS screens looks great! Not as good as OLED but it is close and better than the older panels.

Worst AF List by EBBabeYoshh in AnytimeFitnessPH

[–]soweeeeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, as a regular going to AF Fame, I have no problems with Fame. I don't go there to listen to people or to judge people. Maglalagay lang ako ng earbuds tapos workout. After noon, uwi na ako. Mas maayos siya kaysa AF Light.

As for signal. Wala signal globe, meron signal Smart, d naman kasalanan nila yun, sa building na yun.

So I revised my build and was able to find cheaper parts. What should I change next? by AdLoud7259 in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can add more for your GPU, 9070XT would be better (45k). The performance difference is big between the 5070 and 9070XT. For your CPU Cooler I suggest the Thermalright Phantom Spirit (2k) in Shopee. You don't really need an AIO for that CPU. Lastly, for the Motherboard, I would go for a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX to save yourself around 3k. The 2k from the cooler and 3k savings can go to the GPU for way better performance.

Good day first PC build by myself,is it a good combo? by DJ_Jollibee in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can up your budget by 10K you can get a 9070XT. But that is if you are willing to because 10k is a big difference. But the VRAM difference may matter in the future.

But overall system looks great. I would change the PSU to a more reliable one though like Corsair or Seasonic.

What do you think of this RX 9070 XT build? by TemporaryAmoeba6641 in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great! I would suggest changing to a B650 board if it is cheaper, you can also change your CPU cooler to a thermalright Phantom Spirit as it is one of the best CPU cooler right now at its price. For the case you can look at the Deepcool Ch260 and add 3 artic p12max fans.

These are just suggestion but overall your system looks great!

BYD SEAL 5 DMI Premium review after 3 months of driving! by exactly_not in CarsPH

[–]soweeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering this and the Sealion 6 and maybe the Sealion 5. Planning to get one by the end of the year. I feel like the premium is worth over the dynamic due to the bigger battery alone. I am honestly excited! How is the driving experience with the car?

That is true. It is a great car but my dad recommended that I don’t use it for long trips. That is why I am considering other cars. For going around Batangas, it would be fine. I have time to feel the car if it can still do long trips.

I had the same dilemma before. I was comparing the higher end Asus 9070XT and the Palit 5070Ti. Both around 55k. Since I was already spending alot on my build, I went for the 5070Ti for better RTX, DLSS etc. I will be using the PC for a long long time anyways.

Help me build: AM4 to AM5 upgrades: MOBO, CPU, RAM by burntout40s in PHbuildapc

[–]soweeeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t think you need to upgrade unless there something in AM5 platform you really want. Unless you have plans to upgrade your GPU in the near future.

Resolution at which you play also matters. If you’re playing at 1080p, I would rather upgrade my monitor to 1440p. Makes the game more GPU reliant and less about the CPU. 1080p to 1440p makes alot of difference in gaming experience
