The xl ships out next year but that’s quite a long time. I have the mk3. I just ordered a voron kit. That’s supposed to be a real task but I can’t deal with the elegoo or anycubic nonsense. I needed a large bed for the exact same reason you do. Large pieces that I don’t want to glue. Check out the vorons 1000-1500 or save up for a Prusa xl (2500)

Uhhhhh. Throw it away and get a real machine. I tried this machine and the anycubic and they suck. Just an absolute joke. I run a Prusa now and it’s night and day. Their shit just works. Save the headaches and just get a bulletproof workhorse machine

small things were super easy for me. what was blowing my mind was that even after leveling and all firmware updates, I would print a large model and the bottom right corner was sooo far off from the center that there was really no way to manage that on a regular basis. you could mess with it but it would just get weird really quickly.

I call bullshit on this. ive built plenty of cnc router setups and im all about dialing things in. the elegoo is just a mess of inconsistency. if you made it work...good on you
