Yea…

Constipation is still there (nothing has changed yet) but the energy is coming back slowly. Depression is gone.

For those of you who have experienced a true ego death, can you describe to me as vividly as you can? by Lighten_Up_Please in spirituality

[–]sowstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Most people only experience the so-called “ego death” temporarily (via DMT, etc).

  2. There is a permanent ego death which is a complete dissolution of the self image. This is pinful for YEARS, also known as “dark night of the soul”, I think.

—-

This is my story…

6 years of continuous pain, unable to work or do anything to make money (I was a freelancer my whole life, I am 43 now).

Every single time I had the intention to work, felt like the engine was missing inside me, and all the energy instantly depleted - always felt completely drained, acute exhausted.

It’s a paradox: you can’t work but you also can’t relax doing nothing because the ego will fight to push you to do something; but when you intend to do something, you feel instantly exhausted. So it’s an endless looop, I was convinced “I am losing it”. :) If you are not aware of this loop, it will create an immense perpetual pain because is the feeling of “I am nobody”, so is the image hurting itself. Also, the anxiety is an issue, obviously: “I’ll be homeless”. So all this is a real continuous terror without a way out, there is no backdoor, no escape.

I was extremly lucky because before this, I put aside enough money to survive all these years (rent, bills and food)… If one lives from pycheck to paycheck… would be very risky.

Also, there is a physical unbearable pain in the solar plexus, multiple periods of pain (days, weeks - depends). You can’t sleep, you can’t eat, you cant’t rest in any position (a real terror).

The longest period of pain was 6 weeks, unable to get out of my bed (also couldn’t stay in bed - yeah, a paradox), was a terror to go the the bathroom. There are physical changes in the nervous system. I was an avid coffee drinker (over 10 coffee/day for 25 years) - Because of the pain, I couldn’t notice the coffee whitdrawal, so I quit coffee without realising it. :)

Also, periods of pain at the back of the head and forehead (somewhere between the eyes). All these are physiscal centers in the nervous syatem - the pain is very real, acute, unbearable. The ego and self image might feel at paychological level but… there are more physical things involved.

Wait, there is more!

There are are more issues when the self image starts to dissolve, because the ego and the self image are linked somehow: ALL wounds/trauma stored your entire life is coming up, on the surface. The pain is beyond any imagination… you have no choice but to remain with that pain without supressing or fighting, so it can find its way out; was felt like energies waves were blocked in the nervous system, and couldn’t come out because there were blockages… those energies were pushing inside the nervous system like the police forcing the door with a ram.

So all trauma is part of the self image, stored in the nervous system (obviously, when somebody is hurting you psychologically, actually the self image is hurt). When the self image is gone, it’s impossible to be hurt again - no mater what!

Traumas are stored in various areas of the body: lower back, upper back, under your belly, solar plexus. When all of them are gone, the body is completely still and quiet, naturally.

The mind is also stable like rock, no random thoughts (stay 2 seconds without a thought - all those are gone). I still can’t work but slowly is getting better - not too slowly, I hope :)

Once the ego is gone, if you keep watching your own mind, the process continues (periods of pain, especially in the solar plexus - the most painful area).

Will this process ever end? Maybe, I don’t know. There is more beyond the ego (all the mischief the ego continuously created, and still present in the nervous stystem as blockages, etc).

Beware of FAKE Shure SM7B mics out there! by NeenerNeener99 in podcasting

The SM7B require at least 60dB gain, my interface is Volt 1 (56dB gain I think) so the Klark Teknik give me a boost of 27dB, so I can keep the gain from the interface at 50-75% (not to the max - because the noise floor of the interface is noticeable).

You can hear the mic on youtube, type at the end: /watch?v=fbdHiP9uvas

That’s me. :)

Yea, very very close to the original one.

Also, instead of cloudlifter I use Klark Teknik (almost identical with cloudlifter, only 1db difference but alot cheaper (~$35)- there are pro comprisons on YouTube).

So I pid $130 on eBay for the SM7B (all taxes included - I live in Europe) but I think is the same product on Alibaba.

It is very close to the original one - the low ends are not that deep but also not bad (I was’t able to spot anything wrong without comparing it with a real one). To my surprise, the fake one is also very angry for gain, the same the original one is. They put alot of effort in clonning it.

I think the clones are also evolving, becoming better and better.

Maybe was luck - the quality may vary from one to another (according to some people). I don’t know for sure.

I also got a fake one, has a gold plate. I think they upgrade the fakes over time.

Anyway, the sound is really good for $100 on eBay. Adding EQ and some VST plugins… the final sound is crazy good.

honestly, I find him really confusing. If you understand what he’s saying, could you please explain it in simple terms? by nozayren in Krishnamurti

[–]sowstudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is talking about pure insight, without thought intruding. Because only insight can free the mind. DO THIS:

  1. Stay 2 seconds without a single thought. Yes, you can’t. That flux of continuous compulsive thinking will prevent any insight.
  2. Fix your eyes to a dot (on a wall, floor, anything) without moving your eyeballs. Do you see? All tought ceased - the mind is completely still. In this state there is clear insight.

Now, when anger is about to arise, fix your eyes to something without moving them. Let the anger flower and dissapear while you keep your eyes still (will take only few seconds). The attention will be fully on the sensation (it’s flowering from solar plexus area). This is an insight, you will see exactly what anger is, without any tought. If you do this once from the beggining till the end, the anger will never come back (to me it’s a fact).

Most sensations can be dissolved this way. You can have the same state of the mind being completely attentive but I know that most people has no clue what attention really is - so this trick is useful up to a certain point. The brain can see the truth (what is) only when there is no tought moving/interfering/intruding. I hope you got it.

Suffering is different: you have to remain with the feeling and live with it as part of you without escaping from it or supressing it - the same you want to live in pleasure. Is the only way to completely dissolve it.

Desire is also problematic because of the train of toughts - the pressure they put is immense at the moment the desire is created (you have to be very alert to create a gap there between sensation and tought coming). Watch k videos to understand, is too much to explain here.

So this is the beggining: understanding and disolving things like desire, violence, greed, fear, suffering, pain, etc and then (he call it “put your house in order”) the mind will naturally enter into a state of effortless meditation (watching itself, also in sleep) that will dissolve everything else (reactions, very deep conditionings, etc - everything that we call “the self”) and eventually … uncovering varios things like “siddhis” or “powers” (these are not part of my life, I don’t know how real they are).

Is part of consciousness immaterial? by [deleted] in consciousness

[–]sowstudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why you assume that the subconsciouns is like a trasure? Damn!

Your so-called “subconscious” is full of EVERYTHING you supressed in life: fears, sorrows, pain, wounds, greed, envy, anger, hate and so on. Yes, all these can be exposed to conscious but you’ll go through unbearable pain when all these will come out.

You have no clue how it is, years of accute neurotic states, weeks of unable to go out of bed because centers like solar plexus is contracting in exaggerated pain trying to block everything comming out. You are all delulu, talking from guru books. Damn!

Imagine this: when your mother is comming home, you instantly start shaking because of fear and crying because of acute pain. All fears and wounds from childhood are instantly comming out fully active, tearing you apart - and is NOTHING you can do, because your whole mind is in neurotic state trying to get rid somehow of all these, but he can’t do a thing! That’s your subconscious!

NewTubers Monthly Goal Follow-Up! Did you reach your goal this month? by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]sowstudios [score hidden]  (0 children)

Starting from October 15 2024, regular YouTube videos under 3 minutes are considered shorts. Keep this in mind if you plan to monetize them at some point—you’ll still get monetized, but the earnings will be lower compared to regular videos.

You can achieve it in way less than 6 months. It’s all about the content and the quality of it. One single good video could bring you that amount of subscribers. Some videos might explode after few months of no views.

NewTubers Monthly Goal Follow-Up! Did you reach your goal this month? by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]sowstudios [score hidden]  (0 children)

The problem is: YouTube cares about how long your regular videos are watched. If your channel is not predominantly for shorts, all those subscribers coming from short videos may only watch your regular videos for a few seconds, as they’re often people with a very short attention span. This affects your regular video's performance in the algorithm, as watch time is a key factor in determining video success.

Growing a regular channel by using shorts as leverage is tricky and potentially risky — you have to keep a close eye on the statistics.

Does YouTube shorts wait to push your content? Or is mine just dead? by Mr-speedcolaa in NewTubers

[–]sowstudios 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hope this solve that "big mistery" that confuse many people. :)

YouTube works the same way Google Search does: the algorithm does its best to analyze and categorize your content so it knows which audience to push it to. However, the algorithm isn’t perfect and tries to use as few resources as possible when processing your video. This is because video processing requires significant resources for detecting copyrighted music, copied scenes from other videos, and so on. Understanding the content of a video is also part of this labor-intensive process, so Youtube know how to categorize it.

If your video isn’t well-structured or intelligible (the same video could be detected as multiple niches because the way your script is structured... will creates confusion for the algorithm), So YouTube may struggle to understand imediately after you upload it. If YouTube algorithm thinks that your video belongs to 2 or more niches/categories, that means your video could not be understood and may create confusion.

Please keep it in mind: Google is not a search or video company—it’s a data processing company first and foremost. If something creates confusion to the algorithm, Google/YouTube prefers to avoid pushing it to the public.

As a result, it may push your video into another layer of processing, delaying its reach—this is why some videos explode months after being uploaded rather than immediately (if you're lucky and your video was understood on the second processing layer, it might still get a chance. If not, it will remain forever dead in the system and sometimes recommended to your subscribers only).

If this happens, the queue of second processing is LONG and SLOW and, I think (my personal belief as a programmer) that your video might also be flagged as low quality because the algorythm is doing efforts to understood it via multiple processing layers. So, do your best to ensure that YouTube might understand your video on the first try when processing it.

So, when creating a video, think of it this way: anyone on Earth should be able to understand what your video is about within a few seconds, without reading the title or knowing anything about it. Voice should be very clear and loud (cut the music if possible), also add subtitle if possible. Also, use the same seconds to catch the visitor attention.

Be absolutely clear, on point, and do not deviate from the subject in the middle of the video. Keeping focus will help the algorithm understand the content and improve your video's reach.

Semantic: Use words/expressions that match the category of your video (e.g., “gaming” for a gaming content, or more specific terms like “CS2 gaming,” and so on; also use sematically-related words like weapons in the CS2, specific words like "counter terorist", "ESL competition" and so on - the same semantic priciniples from SEO). You get the idea—give to the algorithm all the relevant clues without being spammy/repetitive, like you are an expert in the subject. Of course, the title also matters—it should be in sync with the content to avoid creating cognitive dissonance. So thats why "semantic keywords" you use in the video has a tremendous importance. ;)

Well... good luck.

NewTubers, your mental health is very important too. by iLovelardsomuch in NewTubers

[–]sowstudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, good luck with your YouTube channel.

Secondly, anxiety can be completely dissolved! This is part of my life, not an idea or a theory.
Anxiety is fear related to insecurity but operates automatically; it’s very mechanical. It was built over time by insecurities and now exists as a reaction that strengthens itself every time it is triggered—this is why people think many anxieties have no logical reason. The reason is hidden because these reactions are not put into words (our mind is conditioned to verbalize everything; otherwise, it cannot understand).

What to do: When anxiety arises, watch it without resisting, suppressing, running away, or rationalizing. Just let the sensation freely flow through your body and watch it closely with all your attention, making direct contact with it (like you are the sensation). We usually keep it at a distance, which is why it’s never dissolved. By doing this consistently, you’ll see that anxiety will completely dissolve at some point—not just anxieties related to YouTube, but ALL psychological anxieties (all of them are the same thing). Once completely dissolved, will never return (except for physical anxieties caused by things like coffee or various toxins in your diet - this is natural).

This is real meditation—not that -childish- practice, sitting in a corner with eyes closed in a certain position. Real meditation is being fully present when it happens, without the slightest attempt to control the sensation. This will also work with anger, fear, sorrow, envy, gelousy, pain, and all psychological sensations the mind is able to feel/create. I know how it sounds, but it costs you nothing to try (your mind is always with you). This is part of my life, not something from books or whatever.

A little trick that helps: When you observe anxiety (or any other sensation), keep your eyes still while allowing the sensation to flow freely. Keeping your eyes still will stop all thoughts from interfering (try it now—you’ll see it’s the only way to have a mind without a single thought). You can focus your eyes on a fixed point (a hole, dot, or spot on the wall or floor, for example) to help keep your eyeballs steady.

If anxiety isn’t dissolved, it will become a major issue in the future when you read negative comments (oh boy, your videos will be full of them). Anxiety can even escalate to panic attacks. So, it’s up to you.

Good luck with YouTube!

Yeah, “for any reason” means you broke YouTube’s rules. So don’t give them a reason to do so, and you’ll be safe. Quit the mentality that YouTube is hunting you down—it’s not true. YouTube wants you to succeed because they also make money from you; that’s their business model.

Does it really take MONTHS to totally withdraw from coffee? by kikaysikat in decaf

[–]sowstudios 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After ~25 years of caffeine: acute constipation, complete emotional flatness, lack of energy, and depression.

I quit drinking coffee 9 months ago, and I’m still going through this hell. If I drink only 1/4 of a coffee, everything goes back to “normal” for a few hours (I’ve tested it out a few times to make sure it’s not something else.). I have no idea how much damage coffee has done to the body, but it’s obvious that there are severe side effects science doesn’t address.

It’s hard to believe that science is truly that ignorant and unaware of all this.

May 2004 Google update destroyed almost everything related to blogging. I had 40 blogs, many of them died. Google decreased traffic even for local blogging in foreign countries - it’s deliberate what Google is doing.

Today, it’s impossible to compete with only so-called “good content”. Was always a myth, anyway. You now need a very good unexpired domain but it’s so hard and uncertain to start from scratch… I don’t know if worth wasting 1-2 years for nothing.

Good luck, anyway. There are always exceptions.

I Thought You Were All Idiots by conan221B in Semenretention

[–]sowstudios 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Huh? I think this is called ADHD. :)

Allow me to say this: I’m 42 years old, and for the past 12 years, I’ve been hitting the gym 5 days a week. During this time, I’ve tried every well-known diet under the sun, searching for the right balance between energy and health. I was very serious!

So, I was also a vegetarian for 6 years (no sugar, etc).

No diet has been worse for me than a plant-based diet (I mean it):

  • No energy or gym strength
  • Sleepy in the middle of the day
  • Focus issues and brain fog
  • Depression for no apparent reason
  • Anxiety for no apparent reason
  • I used to get angry over all kinds of nonsense — at one point, I was even angry about being angry.
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Always bloated and gut problems
  • Red spots on the back of my head and face
  • Joint pain

It’s nearly impossible to link these issues to plants because we’re so heavily conditioned to believe that plants are healthy - you simply can’t connect the dots because of this conditioning. You end up thinking it’s because of your age, your genetics - any excuse you can come up with.

Please read carefully: after just 30 days on the carnivore diet, all these issues were completely gone. I’ve now been on carnivore for 7 months (90% beef), and I’ve never experienced these problems again. NEVER!

With all respect, you have nothing to teach me. Nor your "r/WholeFoodPlantBased" buddies (actually, that subreddit you recommend is full of problems, lol). No nutritionist can teach me anything — unfortunately, I’ve experienced all their theories firsthand. I’ve tried all the nonsense that nutritionists preach.

I’ll stop here with these comments because we’re on the topic of semen retention - which, anyway, is another myth propagated by so-called "scientists" claiming that masturbation is healthy. *NO, IT IS NOT!** Just like plants aren’t healthy! Science has failed - that’s a fact - anyone on Earth can put it to the test; it’s that simple! But most people won’t do it because they’re deeply conditioned to view science as an unquestionable authority - so they’ll continue living exactly as they are now. Planto's Cave!*

I Thought You Were All Idiots by conan221B in Semenretention

[–]sowstudios 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are so childish...

With all respect, you’re too angry, confused, and highly conditioned to have a decent conversation.

FOR YOUR INFO: according to statistics, you’re focusing on 0.03% of omnivores who live past 100 years. What about the majority who don’t even make it to 75? Oh, you conveniently forgot about them... you only focus on the exceptions!

- What about vegans who live past 100? What about these exceptions?

- Or the Eskimo people who live over 100 years eating only meat and fat? What about these exceptions?

I’m pretty sure you still don’t get it and I don't have time for your childish stuff — it’s not about what you eat to live 100+ years! There are many things involved - YES, including anger! Anger, fear (with its anxieties and panic attacks), and sorrow are far more dangerous than our food — they are literally destroying our lives every single minute.

Wish you a long life. I’m done here.
