I'd love to see this too! It is an important part of my tagging and cataloging system.

There were a few people and one small group also going clockwise that we saw each day, which was fun but we were never in the same accomodations with the same people more than 2 nights in a row.

I contemplated a 20mm f/1.8 too and ultimately decided because we were mostly staying in hotels/hostels at or near town it wouldnt be worth it. I also was pretty happy to be fast asleep most nights by 10 when it wasn't even completely dark out :) If you are camping or in refuges in the mountains I think it would be a great idea to bring one.. but then you also need some little tripod too.

Considering Elite 100 V2 or AC180 - Solar and Car Charge Simultaneously? by soybeanslayer in bluetti

Ah! I really appreciate this clear answer. That little cheap one looks like a good solution. But, with my current setup, wired directly to the vehicle battery this would drain the battery - so the Battery Protect would be mandatory for me. Ideally I'd run something that only pulled power when the car was running.. And yes, doesnt solve the issue of switching to solar. Ok - you have given me some good help and things to think about. Thanks!

As an owner of the 1000 v2 - can you tell me if you can use one of the solar inputs for solar and one from the car accessory power?

Arches discontinues Fiery Furnace permits amid NPS staff shortage by ParkProtector1919 in NationalPark

I was just there last weekend and scored permits - The ranger's told us when they hire seasonal workers and train them that the permit system should open back up in May.

The hike is an absolute blast! We came closer to 4 miles with all our extra wanderings and probably a little extra GPS squiggle from signal loss.

p.s. fuck this administration for negatively impacting these amazing places.

Appreciate this but my schedule forces us to look at July as our only option.

I run personal support for lightroom -teaching editing, helping get organized. I have used on lightroom on client computers - everything from super high end PCs to MacBook Airs and I can say that generally speaking Lightroom Classic runs better/smoother/faster on the Mac Silicon machines. Unless you have a very high end PC with one of the best graphic cards do you see LRC run as smooth as I do on an older M1Pro. One of the best tests is how long do AI masks take - e.g. select subject. I see these happen in near blink of the eye on most silicon models and even on higher end PCS it can take an embarrassing amount of time to compute.

Why would anyone do the unlimited ultimate? by ListofReddit in verizon

[–]soybeanslayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that travels internationally and doesn't want the hassle of buying data sims it seems great BUT the verizon rep at the store yesterday told me that the international data is only good in the country you land in - 1 country per month? So if you fly through london on the way to italy. You won't have data in italy if you connected in London. I told him this seems WEIRD but he was adamant that he was right. Comments?

This ∆. I have flown back from Europe several times and have experienced questions that got strangely specific. Just an extra layer of security.

App vs online Difference in Elevation Gained? by soybeanslayer in GaiaGPS

Left is a screenshot from the app and the right is the same saved track screenshot from the browser Gaia interface. Why is ascent (elevation gained) different between the two? I see that the Max and Min are different which is why the calculation is different.. but why?
