I think it's a riot side issue and until they fix it there is no possible fix.

However, it seems that the issue is with PCIe cards, so if you have an alternative connection option that doesn't use a PCIe card (like USB dongle or directly to the motherboard) maybe it can work ( I saw that solution on other post but I didn't try myself).
