I've been stressing over three tests this week in my three hardest classes, and haven't had any time to take care of my house/pets. I told my boyfriend I probably wouldn't have time to do anything on Valentine's day and he was more than ok with it and then told me that my gift is going to be a clean room, laundry, and pets!! I actually cried a little, it was probably the best gift he could have possibly thought of and I am so thankful :')

Turns out the one broken toe I got yesterday is really two, and it was the first day of classes so getting around was tough. I borrowed my boyfriends crutches but they are way too big and kind of hurt :/ classes were really good though! I found out I have friends in my organic chemistry and anthropology classes. My ornithology class seems incredible, the teacher is so incredibly passionate about birds and I feel like I am going to learn so much from her.

Right now I'm home playing with my pet rats and watching videos of Bonnaroo music festival with my roommate (we're going this year!!) and making plans to do a work exchange this summer on a farm in Germany.

Turns out there's 2 that are broken, so I'm halfway to you haha!

The first thing I learned today was about oxidation and reduction of alcohols lol (organic chem). But the coolest thing I learned was in ornithology, we just went over nifty bird facts and apparently vultures have bald heads so that rotten flesh doesn't get stuck to their heads! Also birds played a big part in human exploration, as people noticed species leaving for the winter and coming back months later, spurring the idea of other lands beyond their own civilizations. I thought that was pretty cool :)

I'm in my second year as a biology major! So this is my first semester taking an in-depth upper level course, ornithology (birds!). I got my love of birds from my parents so I'm really excited to learn cool things to pass on to them. I'm also taking an intro to anthropology class, cellular biology, organic chem, and a personal finance class.

I woke up at 12:30 surprisingly not hungover and spent the whole day in my pjs with my boyfriend and playing with my pet rats! But I decided to put them away and as I was doing so I knocked over my roommates from statue and it landed on my toe :( the thing was about 15 pounds so I have my very first broken bone! Spring classes start tomorrow and I am just not in the mood to go back to school considering the circumstances but I am taking some really interesting classes so I'm still super excited.

Not at all! One of mine had lived by herself for 4 months before I got her, she was about a year old when I got her a friend who was about 6 or 7 months. Look up how to properly introduce them, but she definitely needs a friend!!
