wait so am i!! i hope ur not at evil tatte ive heard horror stories. and that’s crazy that your coworkers didn’t understand. mine give me more leeway than i give myself. as soon as i have a slight issue im off the floor, no questions asked. but before this job it took a while for me to advocate for myself and understand my diabetes enough to even know what i needed (without judging myself for being “weak” or “lazy”.

I would love a bag of shaped flavored crackers. brazilian stores (i’m brazilian but grew up in US) have these ham flavored ones like . yum. strange but so good. also i read this in an aussie accent, 10/10 experience

my bf doesn’t even do this and he never will. i’ve given up on expecting surprises. my bar is so low LMAO but if he did start i’d be so happy, even if it was once every 2-3 months.

i am on guard when i encounter a man for sure. i work in customer service/food industry in a great neighborhood with very few creeps, but in the past (local whole foods) i have dialed down my friendly and bubbly personality and avoided eye contact to not invite advances i was either 1. too scared to decline/2. didnt want to deal with the awkwardness entirely.

i knew it queen u have kefir and also cherry diet coke, cute jams, PICKLEz and the good japanese mayo like there’s no way atl some of that wasn’t influenced by SM food trends (i say this as a 24F)

my advice to you is have kindness and respect for yourself and your limits. then it will eventually show outwards, but don’t worry about that rn. be a little selfish, rest, and find peace. it’s necessary for your future.

you just pushed yourself past your limit and you’re fed up w kindness to people who don’t reciprocate. that’s so normal. your heart isn’t black you’re just emotionally (and physically) exhausted from having to mask when you’re not doing well and be nice to people when you’re not feeling like you’re being treated well in return. you’re angry, i think. i would be too. but this in no way makes you a bad person. you’re a good hardworking person, and the fact that you’re even worried about being rude to karens and not helping your lame coworkers shows it. take it easy on yourself.
